Tradition…By its very definition, it represents something that has already been done. The art of designing in traditional styles lies in the creative and rearranged use of familiar iconic elements and details.
We often assemble multiple traditional tones (from classical through modern) in a single building. This allows us the freedom to design without the shackles of a single style that could often dictate design details and solutions. This unexpected combination of styles can create qualities that seem simultaneously new and familiar.
We call this style, “Eclectic Traditional”. Each project can have its own set of styles with a primary influence from one historical reference and a peppering of added styles. This license to create can show that the same hand has created each project, with a truly customized personality for its owner.
Our work has no size boundaries. Nothing is too large or too small. We consider creativity as the goal while size and budget are the context. We have worked for the most discerning and demanding tastes as well as speculative developers and everything between them. In all cases, the quality of the design is a primary goal.
First and always, our work is performed for our client. It begins with a meeting to learn about the wishes and thoughts of our prospective client and follows that path through the completion of the project. All work is performed on a fixed-fee basis, agreed in advance, to keep the project costs under control.
